The world of literature is ever-evolving, and every author brings a unique voice to it. Today, we have the privilege of conversing with Pragati Khatwani Singh, a writer whose words inspire and resonate with many. From her journey as an author to her creative process and upcoming projects, she shares her insights in this exclusive interview.
• When did you discover your love for writing ?
It was long ago, in my student years, that I started penning down my thoughts, but then I also went through many phases of writers’ block, which I gradually recognized as suppressed emotions. Dealing with them helped open the flow of thoughts.
• What drives you to write or who inspires you?
My passion for creating awareness for self connection and empowerment is what drives me to share my understanding. It really gives me immense hope to see the untapped potential we all carry deep within us which can be channelized into carving a life full of joy and fulfillment.
• What genres do you enjoy reading the most, and do they influence your writing?
I love reading about Energy, Frequency, and Vibration, which form the basis of all of our Universe and the physical existence. I find it empowering to understand how energy translates into our physical experiences, and also how this knowledge can assist us in expanding our consciousness.
This does influence my writing, as all pieces of my writing are energy translated into words. As humans, all of us are Sentient Beings, and if we connect within through our feelings, we can find access to the reservoir of unlimited Creative Energy that can be transformed into tangible physical manifestations. Its just a matter of tapping within.
• Which genre do you prefer to write about?
I write about Self Help and Spirituality.
• How long did it take you to write the book “Birthing The New Earth” ?
Birthing The New Earth is a compilation of my write-ups written mostly all through 2024. Consolidating them into a book took me the last few months of the year.
• The title suggests a transformation—how do you define the "New Earth"?
New Earth is an experience, which we as a collective reach, having gone through a major phase of transformation, working on ourselves. Every soul on Earth, who is destined to live this experience, came here to contribute to this enormous shift, through shifting its own consciousness. This is the biggest shift in the history of the Universe, and it is happening Here and Now. We are being called to raise our vibration, in order to birth our own versions of the New Earth. Trust it or not, we are certainly living in prophesied times, when millions are awakening across the planet. That is why expanding one’s consciousness is of utmost importance now.
My version of this experience is one where humanity thrives in complete harmony with existence, fully integrated within, and connected with its Source.
• Do you like reading? If yes, please tell us about your favourite authors and books?
I love to read, but my preference is not confined to any particular author or a book.
• For readers new to journaling, what advice would you give to make it a meaningful practice?
Journaling can be a very effective tool for inner work. Pouring one’s emotions on paper is very powerful to liberate the mind and body of chaos, following which the resolution to any situation, may arise effortlessly.
Keeping a journal as a companion goes a long way in detaching self from the emotional upheaval. This release of emotional baggage is necessary to think clearly and set new intentions. You don’t need to preserve that baggage on paper either. You can discard it, once the emotions are released.
• How should readers approach Birthing the New Earth—is it a guide, a workbook, or something else?
Birthing The New Earth is a resource, which can help one to work on self transformation and also find guidance in situations. It can be used in multiple ways:
It can be read in a flow as a guide, while relating to one’s life.
It can be used as a manual, while putting into practice the messages, and coming to one’s own understanding through the experience.
Also, another beautiful way of working with this book is whenever you are caught up in any particular emotion or situation, just make an intent to receive your answer, and open it randomly. The more aligned you are, chances are that you end up opening the exact message which is meant to be received by you, in the moment. This can be your companion book, in that way.
Howsoever you choose to use it, but going through it at a slow pace, while ‘feeling’ into the meaning of every word, is the one thing which is the most important.
• Lastly, how was your experience working with “InkQuills”?
I am really grateful to InkQuills, for giving me the opportunity to work with them. I found them to be very methodical, and systematic in their approach, taking things ahead in a planned stepwise manner with focus on details. It was a great experience working with them.
